BIOGRAPHY
Shannon Irene is a Los Angeles-based freelance make-up artist and licensed aesthetician.
Her wide range of techniques allows her to service clients in all areas: make-up application, facials, waxing, body treatments, eyebrow shaping, and make-up styling.
Shannon Irene is able to service clients for a full spectrum of events ranging from weddings and special occasions, film, print and runway.
Always focused on her clients’ needs first, she also works with them individually, performing one-on-one consultations where she designs looks, teaches application, chooses colors and product, and even organizes makeup drawers!
After earning her bachelor’s degree studying film and communications at American University in Washington D.C., Shannon Irene relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her calling. Starting off strong, she began her career on a major studio motion picture, Something’s Gotta Give, at Sony Pictures. Focused on her job as an assistant to the director, Shannon Irene found herself enthralled by the make-up department, observing professionals at work and learning all she could to enhance her own techniques.
Since then, her passion for make-up artistry has continued to grow and blossom. While managing small businesses for a few years in Los Angeles, she began taking make-up clients part time as passion projects. Shannon Irene realized the skill and creativity she embodied. She committed herself to studying the craft full time and enrolled in an aesthetics program at one of Los Angeles’ premiere schools for make-up artistry and aesthetics. Upon graduating, Shannon Irene earned her aesthetician’s license and has fully transitioned into the professional realm.
Her talent, knowledge, precision, and attention to detail allow her to continue to grow in the ever-changing industry. Shannon Irene’s personal and professional motto is:
“I want to help my clients feel inspired. I love being part of the creative process and the ability to use my skills as a make-up artist and aesthetician as part of a personal transformation- be it a personal consultation or as part of a fashion show. Helping my clients is my passion, so my job is a joy and always a pleasure”.
Shannon Irene’s passion for the face and skin is one that she has carried with her throughout her career. She harnesses this passion every day, utilizing it to exceed her clients’ expectations. She looks forward to playing a big role in the makeup and skin care industry in the future, one client at a time.
